The Emotional Hunchback

 I'm sharp around the edges

Harsh ends and unkind
All waters and burnt bridges
And a mess in my mind

I had no choice
In my heartbreaks and sorrow
With gravel in my voice
My only goal is surviving tomorrow

But then you came along
Like a breath of fresh air
Like a classical song
Like the wind in my hair

And like the disfigured emotional I am
I ran up the tower and rang the bells
The emotional hunchback of Noterdam
Came down to live in my heart's cell

My world is less than a Disney story
My books & stories sees no happy end
My hero is not armed with pride & glory
My world has misfortune as a friend

I know my history
Therefore I know my fate
It's a horror story not mystery
I fall in love with what I hate

But you came along
But not really there
Like a classical song
Like the wind in my hair

See I cannot have what I didn't earn
I'm not as blessed with ease in life
I cannot wish for my luck to return
I can only fight bravely in this black strife

Sometimes I think you're too good for me
Sometimes I think I'm too good for you
My "sometimes" are slowly killing me
But all my heart's prisoner wants is you
Just like a classical song
When you're not there
I will humm along
With the wind in my hair .......
